Floating Decks
Many of our shipments are delicate high tech electronics equipment that require special vibration dampening "floater decks" or "shock pallets". Other times we design crates to use one of our stock grades of closed cell cushioning foam to protect delicate equipment.
Every item shipped has some level of fragility that needs to be considered when determining what type of shipping container will be correct. At Industrial Craters & Packers we know it is important to discuss that level of fragility with you so that we can determine the best way to provide that needed level of protection. In doing so, you can feel confident that the container that you receive is not more or less than you actually need.
We know that by paying close attention to these issues, you will be provided with the most cost effective package for getting your product safely to its destination. Some products won't need special protection from shock impact. Others need to to have very detailed calculations done to ensure high levels of protection for delicate components. By referencing collected data from our suppliers, ISTA and ASTM, we can calculate the optimal cushioning and protection for your product.
